bold and earthy
This is a genuinely excellent Sumatra, but I want to set expectations for newcomers: this is not a subtle coffee. It's earthy, full-bodied, and assertive. If you're used to lighter Central American roasts, it might catch you off guard. Once I adjusted my brew ratio, I found the sweet spot and it's been wonderful. The cedar and chocolate notes are real, not marketing fluff. Docking one star only because I wish the bag had a resealable zipper.

Converted my whole office
I'm the office manager at a mid-size logistics company and I handle all our breakroom supplies. I switched us to this Sumatra after someone complained our old coffee tasted like "hot brown water." Within a week I had three people asking where the new coffee came from. Nobody's complaining anymore. The auto-ship subscription keeps it hassle-free and the 10% savings adds up over a year's worth of orders.

Perfect in a French press
Buy it, brew it in a French press, thank me later. The coarse grind lets all those earthy, chocolatey notes bloom. Smooth, bold, no bitterness.
